USS Massachusetts Battleship

The USS Massachusetts was a South Dakota class United States battleship that was used during World War Two in the Pacific and Atlantic theater. The Massachusetts took part in the Battle of Leyte Gulf in 1944 where she was damaged by enemy aircraft bombs. This model is the Trumpeter version of the USS Massachusetts (scale 1/700) where she was built during her scheme in 1944. Moderate amount of detailing was done to the model as well as a minimal diorama base with an explosion splash depicting the battleship during her endeavour with the Japanese kamikaze attacks in the Battle of Leyte Gulf 1944. Overall this was a decent model from my perspective with a decent tooling and a satisfying plastic model kit.
